Council unaware of eviction
In reference to the letter “Accident forces eviction” in the July 11 edition, written by Sandra Wallace, Jamestown, NY, an erroneous statement was printed. The building council did not have a meeting with anyone concerning eviction of said tenant. The building council was unaware of decisions for eviction. Mary Perry

Human: only race that matters
Webster refers to the deliberate extermination of a race of people as genocide. I refer to the deliberate extermination of the mind of a race of people as mentacide and this is precisely what has happened to the Negro in America. His thinking processes in terms of what is best for him and his race has been usurped and replaced with a Caucasian mentality, so that when he thinks, he thinks in terms of what is good for Caucasian America and not for humanity, which in reality is his race.
We see a perfect manifestation of this in no less than three notorious leaders in America, Colin Powell, Condolezza Rice and the honorable Clarence Thomas. Although they may be famous and important to America as a whole, they are an affront to Blacks the world over.
We see so-called Negro leaders mouthing off about quotas or against quotas. It doesn’t take a genius to realize that quotas are unfair, but how do you think that people of African descent have felt about the 99 percent white quota that has been in existence over 300 years despite their qualifications. Fair-minded Caucasians joined with progressive people of African descent to institute quotas in our society with the backing of the federal government to correct this grossly unfair playing field.
In truth I am not referring to black as a color, but as an ideology, an attitude wherein one realizes from whence he came and as a result of these experiences as well as the experiences of his foreparents closely identifies with the oppressed, downtrodden and brainwashed individuals in America and around the world. This very process causes a resurrection of the mentally-dead Negro and transforms him into a black man or should I say a human being who is able to make decisions with respect to himself and America on his own. This is the liberation that concerns me, not Iraq, because with this type of liberation Iraq would not have happened.
I hope that you are beginning to realize that America needs to resurrect and begin to think for itself and dispense with the notion that the media has their interest at heart.
I would submit that most of the nonsense that most Americans believe with regard to race has been perpetrated against them by others, who had ulterior motives or an interest in this division. The only race that is important for the advancement of mankind is the human race.
