Veterans advised of new office

2 min read

Dear fellow Veterans of Fayette County: As you may have noticed in the newspaper, the Fayette County Veterans Affairs office has now moved to the 911 building (Public Service Building). This new office location now makes the office more accessible for the disabled and elderly and will help better serve the needs of our veterans. Please remember, the only way to find out if the VA can help you is to ask someone. I am sure that a lot of veterans and their families out there still do not know what benefits they may be entitled to. Don’t wait until it is too late for someone to help; the Fayette County Veterans Affairs Office is there to answer your questions. The staff has recently completed the mandatory training sessions and is eager to answer questions, help file claims, etc.

If there is something that the new VA Director and his staff are not sure of, they have a strong support network of veterans ready and willing to assist them anyway possible. We as a veteran community need to ensure that our veterans are being cared for and getting the benefits they so rightly deserve. If you know a veteran in need of assistance please call the Fayette County Veterans Affairs Office at (724) 430-1241.
