Humane Society officers lauded

1 min read

When Wharton Township police made an emergency call to Noah’s Ark the Fayette County Humane Society about the tragic accident involving Mr. Steve Courson and his dog Rufus, everyone was shaken and did not know what to do for Rufus at the scene. I want to thank the animal control officers Ruth and Brenda for responding to the scene quickly and professionally. They both were upset as the events unfolded. Mr. Courson was being put in the ambulance, but they kept consoling Rufus and Rachael, petting Rufus and keeping him calm as the two of them put him in the Noah’s Ark truck and transported him to Dr. Tummons for veterinary care.

Their unconditional love and dedication for all the animals should be inspiring to us all. I will always remember and thank Mr. Courson for his love and dedication to his beloved pets. Talk about unconditional love. Nothing will ever compare! He will be sadly missed by Rufus and Rachael but never forgotten in their hearts.

God bless you.
