Cemetery defiled

1 min read

While visiting loved ones at LaFayette Memorial Park on Oct. 9, I had a stomach-turning experience. What I saw was appalling. The Garden of the Faith had several head stones with animal feces on them. The grass was also covered. I saw it in other areas as well. It is well know that many people walk in the park for exercise and that’s fine. But I draw the line at letting your dogs run loose and empty their bowels. This is totally disrespectful; if the office was open I would have went in to tell them. They are always ready to take your flowers off and throw them away. They post it (that notice), nowadays. However, I think the groundskeepers need to be doing their upkeep job just a little better.
