Reader wants columnist dropped

1 min read

I’m sure many of your readers are wearied by the foolishness of Ellen Goodman’s column which appears regularly in the Herald-Standard. Her latest writing mocks intelligent design and everyone who believes in it, which includes our President and Senate Majority Leader.

Ms. Goodman totally rejects and ridicules the Biblical account of creation as unscientific, and does not believe intelligent design should be mentioned even as a theory to our schoolchildren.

One day she will stand before God and realize how miniscule and invisible her brain is, compared to the intelligence of the creator of the universe, the one she so pompously denies.

She will then realize, probably too late, that she had the cart before the horse and that science, which she so highly esteems, is merely the study of what God has already made.

I wish the Herald-Standard would consider dropping her column, as she does not seem to have anything of value to offer and is leading many gullible people astray with her twisted views on so many issues.

I also pray that readers who agree with me will be vocal and write “letters to the editor” as well.
