Support Sept. 26 rally to protest state Legislature
To all Pennsylvanians: Since July, Bob Durgin of WHP 580 AM in Harrisburg has been circulating a “Petition of Rejection” of the legislative pay raise. You can find a copy at a href=”http://www.whp580.com/Durginstuff.html http://www.whp580.com/Durginstuff.html end
. He plans to present it to the Legislature on Sept. 26 at noon. There will also be a protest at the Capitol when he does.
We have seen “Million Man Marches” and “Million Mom Marches”. The largest rally I’ve ever seen in Harrisburg was about 10,000. Now is the time to have a “Million Mad Taxpayer March”.
Many of you will say, “I can’t afford to miss work and go.” But you need to ask yourself, “Can I afford not to?” For those of you who can’t go, we should declare a general strike and cost them a day’s worth of tax money.
Let’s send them a message they can’t ignore. Be there. Don’t forget your tar and feathers.
