Don’t fall for smokescreen
The emergency call for “tax-reform” by the governor and several state senators is a thinly disguised ploy to divert attention from the legislative pay raise. Enacting new taxes is not tax reform, nor is it tax relief.
It is a tax increase, something Ed Rendell loves, and, so it seems, do the rest of the legislators, regardless of party.
Cut taxes, repeal the raise, then we can talk.
This latest smoke screen is just more of the same old, same old.
Enough, already! Pennsylvania needs a whole new set of representatives and senators.
