Letter writers don’t know real Vicites, Danko’s not loyal to him

2 min read

After reading the slanderous comments about Vincent A. Vicites in your newspaper, we felt compelled to write the true version about Vincent Vicites. After all, the public has a right to know the facts. We are referring to the letters from Barbara J. Michael and William Pear on April 13.

This was the last straw with us. These two people do not know Vicites, or they would not have written such malicious fabrications about him.

Quotes from Barbara J. Michael: “Three years later, Vicites now backs Griglack and is supporting Danko’s competition. I do not get it.”

Of course you wouldn’t get it, Barbara. Because the way Griglak squealed about confidences on the WMBS talk show, if Griglack were in the mafia he would have been whacked about 15 minutes after the program. As far as “not getting” it, Mr. Robert F. Danko is supporting Vicites’ competition. What kind of a loving father-in-law does that make him?

Now, William Pear, Vince has never even heard of you, yet you “claim” to be a retired police officer and “claim” to know all about him. If you just moved here from New Jersey as you “claimed,” you don’t know diddely about Vincent Vicites.

Let us inform you, “Barbie” and “Billy,” Vincent Vicites is an articulate public servant. He can be trusted with our future in this county. He’s also an intelligent, loving family man. There absolutely is no better choice than Vicites for our state representative.

People like you who criticize him are not hurting Vince; he’s a man and can take it. But you might take into consideration he has two of the nicest kids around and also a lovely wife.

Shame on you for humiliating a true Christian family that way, because when you try to hurt Vince, you’re hurting his family.

How do we know this? Because we know the “real” Vincent Vicites.

Let the “good” people prevail on Election Day.
