Zoning office incompetent
If you are planning to buy a modular home in the future, I hope you do not run into what I did. First of all, there was zoning. Whoever I talked to there didn’t know what they were doing. They said I could have it on my property as long as it was on a foundation, which it was going to be.
So, I put a down payment of $7,350 on a modular home. Then I called zoning back to double check because the trailer was to be delivered out there soon. And then to my surprise, zoning told me I was not zoned. Whoever told me that was wrong. Don’t they know what they are doing at zoning?
And then, to top it all off, the trailer place wouldn’t give me my money back. And my lawyer finds out it is not a reputable place. I fought for three years and only got a pittance back.
How can this place and zoning look at themselves in a mirror?
