‘Select Five’ running UASD

1 min read

Being a Uniontown resident, I feel our Uniontown Area School Board’s “Select Five” will forever keep us in a state of debt, whether for 20, 30 or 40 years in the future. Presently it’s the $45-plus million for update of the senior high school.

The new structures will look awesome as we drive past them on Fayette Street. Just remember these same “Select Five” in four years when your taxes take a significant increase.

These same “Select Five” are counting on you and I to forget this by then.

For all the sake of the Uniontown Area School District, it would be wise not to forget their actions when their re-election is due. We need a change for more thoughtfulness of what is best for the taxpayers.

This “Select Five” either doesn’t get it, or doesn’t’ really care.
