Vicites displays childish behavior

2 min read

When I attended the Sept. 29 commissioners meeting, I was appalled by the action of Mr. Vicent A. Vicites, who kept information of an issue to be discussed from Mrs. Angela M. Zimmerlink. He had received the information and provided said information to Mr. Joseph A. Hardy III but not to Mrs. Zimmerlink. When the issue came up, he then was forced to provide it to her, saying he had memorized it. As a regular attendee at these meetings, I knew this childish behavior was going on but I had not witnessed it personally. At this last meeting, all in attendance witnessed it.

Mr. Vicites blatantly withheld this information and even made a snide remark about how much time had elapsed since she received the information. This childish behavior, on his part, is nothing more than an attempt to enhance his image in the political arena.

Mr. Vicites, to your chagrin, Mrs. Zimmerlink is the chairwoman of the board and to be quite honest, she is an exceptional leader.

The time has come for Mr. Vicites to provide information to all members of the board and stop trying to sabotage Mrs. Zimmerlink. The taxpayers want and deserve an open government and this juvenile behavior must stop. The best way to enhance your image, Mr. Vicites, is to be a responsible adult instead of a juvenile.
