Citizens should have a say
As you talk with citizens in the community you don’t hear too much positive about playing our games at the University Stadium. The family oriented feeling we had at Booster Field has been lost at the University Stadium; it’s just not the same atmosphere.
Once again why was this issue not taken to the citizens of the district and see what their feelings were, before this move was made? Why wasn’t a survey sent out and let the citizens decide and weigh the pros and cons?
All politicians must realize one important thing: they work for us. We do not work for them. We pay heavy school taxes and I firmly believe we should have a say-so on any major decision that is made and that includes raising our taxes.
