DeWeese doesn’t push pencil
Bill DeWeese is a veteran. That is a fact. While he may not have served in Vietnam, he still served proudly in the Marines and therefore as a fellow veteran he has my support more than any indoor football player or pencil pusher like Paul Sunyak ever will. Sunyak’s regular verbal tirades about Mr. DeWeese only shows how shallow and completely irrational and negative Sunyak has become. After reading his latest opinion piece (and I use that term lightly) I think Sunyak proved the opposite of what he was trying to say. Bill DeWeese does in fact represent me and what I fought for, helping the average guy by increasing minimum wage and providing low-cost prescription for senior and affordable health care for kids. Sunyak, on the other hand, is making a mockery of freedom of the press and using the veteran issue as merely a means to sell newspapers.
For the sake of all of us who are tired of reading his crusty and miserly commentaries, I offer this piece of advise to Sunyak, if you can’t say anything nice for once; don’t say anything at all.
