Let kids be kids, and skateboard
My son and kids around the neighborhood love to skateboard. So what do they do? They make ramps and things to skate on. Every day I would see the kids, ages 11 to 14, having fun, doing tricks on a road that rarely traffic goes on. Not on a sidewalk or someone’s property. When they were done skating they would put their equipment in the weeds or woods. All summer and after school, these same groups of kids having fun, not getting into trouble not stealing, or doing something illegal. I guess someone couldn’t stand someone having a good time. So what happens? One call leads to another, and the kids’ ramps and boards are hauled away.
Come on, people. Weren’t you all kids before? Shame on you. They weren’t hurting anyone. I can’t understand why people don’t have anything better to do than ruin it for the kids, and that’s just what they are: kids having fun.
