Sam will be missed

1 min read

I was very touched by the letter that Janie Georgiana wrote about her father, Sam Georgiana, at Christmas time. I also want to support her words. I was fortunate enough to meet Sam when I rented a house from him on Lenox Street. I soon became aware of his generosity. He could have been a wealthy man but he gave his riches away by helping the poor and needy. I feel wealth is measured not by what you have, but rather how many you have shared it with.

Sam’s worth was immeasurable. His life lessons are living through his daughter’s reminder of what the true meaning of Christmas and everyday life should be about.

Love and kindness mean a lot. When we give them away, we receive much more in return.

We know he is in heaven now and is sadly missed by many of his friends who will always remember him for his kindness and help he has given them.

God Bless you. Janie.
