To the staff of Herald-Standard, particularly those in charge of “Angels Among Us,” I would like to thank you for publishing my article in your Dec 19 edition. The story was about Mallory Oross, a 6-year-old girl with cancer. She passed away Dec. 22; now she is a “true angel.”

It was a comfort for me to write the article, and a comfort for her parents to read.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to share with others a Mallory.
