Complaint about poll worker
I have been a faithful registered Democrat voter of Fayette County since I turned 18 and May 15 when I went to the polls to cast my ballot, I was appalled to see a person who lives in my community that is not a registered voter working for, and asking me to cast my vote for, Vincent Zapotosky as county commissioner. I have to wonder what type of commissioner he would be if he or his committee did not verify the registration of his workers. I am not judging Mr. Zapotosky, but would ask of all politicians, when requesting a person’s vote you should make sure the person or persons you have working for you can also vote for you.
This normally wouldn’t bother me except for the fact that I received a card in the mail from the Committees to Elect Sean Cavanaugh and Vincent Zapotosky slamming county Commissioners Vince Vicites and Joe Hardy. I will have to say to Mr. Zapotosky that this mistake has cost you at least one Democratic vote, and in the future I would hope that everyone makes sure their workers are registered.
