National save energy day Sept 11 every year. Show the world and your fellow Americans that you care about your country and that you are willing and able to help your country. Our energy crisis is something that every American can do something about.

Every American can help to make a difference in the energy used in this country every day. Let?s make 9-11-08 a better day for us all by making a true effort to use less energy. Take steps to use less, not just postponing a trip, or not buying gas on a certain day, but make a plan to use less energy just for one day.

Some basic things everyone can do to use less are: make sure you turn off all lights and appliances that you’re not using, car pool to work for one day, or take public transportation, if you need to go shopping call a friend and car pool together to the store.

Just try it for one day. You do have the power to make a real difference in use of energy in our country. We have the power to make all the big oil companies, all of the oil speculators, all of the foreign countries who sell us energy, see that we can make difference.

By each of us making an effort for just one day to use less energy we will learn that we can continue to make small differences in our personal use of all energy. By everyone making a few small changes in the ways we consume energy, we can make a huge difference, we can change prices, block power shortages, change world opinions, reduce green house gas emissions, and help our own checkbooks.

Let’s get everyone in America to work together to show us and the world we still have the ability to solve our own problems by cooperation. Let’s change this day, 9-11, known around the world, from tragedy to success.

I know it is late to get this going nationally this year, but please make an effort yourself and please tell your friends and neighbors.
