Oct. 8 deadline set for letters regarding candidates
Thursday, Oct. 8 will be the deadline for the Herald-Standard to receive letters criticizing or supporting candidates in the upcoming Nov. 3 municipal election. Such letters received after Oct. 8 won’t be published. The letters should be no more than 300 words and may be edited for style and length. Writers should include their name, address and telephone number to allow for verification.
Letters without this information cannot be published. Letters can be sent to Herald-Standard, 8-18 E.Church St., Uniontown, Pa., 15401, faxed to 724-439-7559 or e-mailed to hsletters@heraldstandard.com
