Change needed
Well, voters in Fayette County, it’s time again for you to speak your mind on how you think your county government is being run.
I think the currentcounty commissioners have failed and failed badly. Any time an elected official fails to do what they are elected to do, there’s a political reason that benefits the politician. Forget how you’re registered, this time vote for who you think will do the right job for all the taxpayers and the county. The current commissioners can’t even get along long enough to accomplish and more often than not have the county sued. Is this good government?
As an example, look what took place in the election bureau and more strongly in the Veterans Affairs office over the past several years. As a veteran, I’m asking every veteran, their family and friends of veterans, who care about this country, county and our military to unite on election day, get registered and vote the current commissioners our of office.
Just take a look at the new candidates. Listen to their outlook for Fayette County and give them a chance to correct what the current commissioners can’t or won’t do. I remember joining the service when I was 17 years old and had to pack my bags, leave home, learn to be an adult and defend our country.
It’s time for you the voter to have the current commissioners pack their bags and leave office which they think is their home. Lets give some new people a chance and if they fail let them look for some luggage.
