Christmas tips
Here are some Christmas tips.
You can make your presents. Write your own Christmas cards. Play games. Talk about the fun you had with family members who have left the earth.
Remember being a kid. Laugh and have fun. Try not to cause yourself the stress of purchasing things you cannot afford.
For children, instead of putting the presents under the tree. Try some of the things I’ve done. Get up first. Get your coffee. Grab your camera and have a seat. Now, take this time to enjoy all your hard work. Only put clothes under the tree. Hide the other presents. Put a card on the tree from Santa. In a card write what to do for presents.
Example:
1. Their card had a poem in it that their clues were on the wrapping paper left behind. They had to get the clothes paper back out to find their clues.
2. I put an alarm clock in my son’s room. That was his first present. Then other presents were set up in different spots on his way to the tree to the present he wanted the most.
3. I hid a little white sticker in the room. The stickers had scrambled words on them. They had to unscramble the word to find out where the present was.
I could go on. Like tying the present in a tree, you have to climb. For my 3-year-old grandson, I put a flash card on the Christmas tree from Santa.
Just use your imagination. You will laugh & have more excitement than you can even imagine.
This is my gift to you.
