Police upset resident

2 min read

On Wednesday, July 20, as i was trying to get to my destination up Greater Point Marion hill toward Falling Timbers Road, I encountered what looked like an accident.

As I was trying to back down the hill, an unmarked car with two police officers inside were waving their hands for me to get of the way. In the process, I had nowhere to go. I proceeded to pull over as far as I could without going in a ditch.

As the unmarked car went by, the female state police officer verbally abused me, saying, “Do you live up here.” I answered back, saying yes.

Once again, she came back, saying, “I had no business being there.”

I proceeded to tell her that I was simply going to pay my water at the Albert Gallatin Municipal Authority. She rudely interrupted me, calling me a liar and telling me that I needed to go back down the hill.

I feel she was very unprofessional. There was no reason for her to talk to me the way she did. I was an innocent bystander, who was simply trying to make my way to my destination.

It just goes to show you how our law enforcement people treat their fellow citizens. As a matter of fact, the next time I’m asked to make a donation to the state police you can bet they won’t get a cent from me. As of now, I have no respect for the law enforement officers in the state of Pennsylvania.
