Unsafe roads
While traveling around the area I see a lot of roads thats been oiled and chipped. What a waste of taxpayers money.
Oiling and chipping roads does a lot of damage to cars. But it is also dangerous for motorcycles. Oiling and chipping roads is very unsafe.
Cars and motorcycles are not safe on these roads. Windshields could be cracked by flying little stones. Your paint on your car could be chipped off.
This is when PennDot should be getting a bill. They should pay for all damages or get sued. There are roads that don’t even need to be chipped. The Hopwood Coolspring Road for one. There is nothing wrong with that road for one.
What PennDOT needs to do is put a 10-ton limit on that road. There are too many people that live along this road and too many big trucks roll on that road. Don’t wait till one of these truck drivers kills someone pulling from their driveway. These drivers have no respect for other people. So quit chipping roads and do something good for a change.
