Truth about Mormons

2 min read

This letter is in response to the person from Hopwood who wrote a letter to the editor saying that the Mormon church doesn’t believe in God or the Bible.

Didn’t he research what he put in his letter before he wrote it? Mormons do believe in the Bible as one source of it’s primary authority. They also believe in God. They see him as the Supreme Being of the universe, but unlike Christians they believe he has a body.

They also believe in Jesus. The difference is they believe he hasn’t been around for all time as part of the Holy Trinity. Those beliefs aren’t exactly those of Christians, but who are we to judge them?

Mitt Romney is 64. If that’s old, tell that to my mom who’s 72 and my grandma who’s 87. I’m not Mormon, I’m Catholic, so I would love to see Rick Santorum run against President Obama. If he’s considered old (he’s 53), how young do you want the next president to be? As far as the other Republicans running, let the American people decide for themselves if they’re too old.

You also said that Republicans aren’t for the poor or the middle class. Mitt Romney put his foot in his mouth about the poor, but he’s for the middle class. He said the rich can take care of themselves.

According to you the Republicans got the country in the mess it’s in. Well, have the Democrats done anything to get this country out of the mess it’s in? Or have they just made a bigger mess?

Also, how is President Obama better than any of the Republicans running? Isn’t he for abortion? One of the wicked things this country is doing is letting abortions continue. God can’t heal this land and forgive our sins until this practice stops.
