State Sen. Daylin Leach (D-Montgomery/Delaware) has announced plans to introduce legislation that would legalize marijuana in Pennsylvania. Do you think that marijuana should be legalized in Pennsylvania?

“They are using drugs now — dumb and dumber. Let’s just TAX ‘EM.”

“They need to legalize marijuana and start weening the opiates from pain clinics. Substitute it with medicinal marijuana. I have never encountered a parent of a pothead who said their kid stole or beat them! Opiates and cocaine products are another story!”

“Good Lord! People are already making terrible decisions. Let’s allow them to impair their judgment even further.”

“Absolutely not. Our government on all levels already makes poor decisions. And how does this help anything in the society we live in. It doesn’t surprise me though. This is just more of the social decline and the irresponsibility of our so-called leaders.”

“Legalize it, or at least decriminalize it.”

“Legalize it, tax it, use tax dollars to fix crumbling infrastructure and maybe employ some of you miserable gateway-speaking people.”

“ABSOLUTELY NOT!, but that’s just my opinion.”

“For medical reasons, like Multiple Sclerosis? Yes.”

“NOOOOOOOOO!”

“I wouldn’t agree to it for recreational use.”

“For some it may not be a problem, but for others that have an addiction tendency then it is absolutely a gateway drug. Do we really need anything else that is going to lead to impaired judgement, cause slower reaction time when driving or could lead to more serious problems? These other states need to stop thinking about the possible tax dollars it could give them and actually start thinking about ALL of the citizens!”

“Are adults in PA still sent to prison for the possession of small amounts of marijuana? If so, how much does that cost PA taxpayers? I bet it’s a lot … maybe too much!”

“I don’t agree with the “high,” but it is being bought regularly, and people drink. I’m sure MOST of you do, and it impairs you just the same. Legalize it with restrictions just like alcohol.”
