Majority of Fayette County voters are drug addicts, criminals
I want to respond to Michael Greer’s recent letter to the editor titled “Crime increasing in county.”
What is currently happening in Fayette County as far as crime is concerned, is that the crime is increasing tenfold compared to one or two years ago. I told the residents when I was a candidate for sheriff in four elections my forecast that crime will increase to a much escalating proportion, but evidently no one appears to care as long as they do not fall victim to crime. The residents appear not to care for their fellow neighbor but only for themselves and their families.
As to the crime or drug problem, one out of seven Fayette County residents possesses some type of drug addiction, whether it be prescription narcotic pain medication or some other type of drug.
If anyone in the room believes that these drug addicts will vote for you when your campaign platform is “Got drugs, go to jail” is presently having illusions of grandeur. Yes, these drug addicts are registered voters. So are part of the criminals who steal the victim’s dignity, pride and souls.
Also, as Mr. Greer’s letter stated, that a lot of people are living in fear because they are very scared for their safety is absolutely correct and accurate. There are residents who are prisoners within their own homes. There are residents who are living in constant fear of their safety.
As for Uniontown’s East End, Mayor Ed Fike made a pre-campaign election promise to form a regional police force. Well, this is another politician’s false commitment or promise that never materialized. Why? you ask. Well, Fike does not possess the knowledge or training to form, develop and implement a regional police force.
Like usual, when Fike took office, he soon forgot about the safety of the East End residents, but he sure wanted their vote, which he employed deception and lies to get.
The city of Uniontown is 2.2 miles with approximately 10,445 residents. Its crime rating is near to Harrisburg’s crime rating. You, the residents, should not complain simply because you have brought the current crime and drug problems upon yourselves for not properly evaluating the candidates that want to be your sheriff, mayor or leaders.
In essence, today the criminals and drug addicts overwhelmingly control the vote. They control who will be the sheriff and your leaders. It is true. Do not be in denial. It is simply reality. Just look around and ask yourself, “Where is Fayette County at present?” In my opinion, it is at the following:
1) Possesses famine
2) Second to Allegheny county in welfare recipients
3) High unemployment
4) “FayetteNam” stigma
5) Second to South Philadelphia in teenage abortions
6) Very bad image throughout America
Now ask yourself, “Where is Fayette County going in the future?” Answer: Nowhere in the near future. Fayette County crime statistics are posted throughout the Internet. Everyone in America is virtually aware of Fayette County, and they are shaking their heads in complete disbelief.
About the new Lady Luck Casino at Nemacolin Woodlands, well, there will be ones that are on Social Security, welfare, unemployment, worker’s compensation and pensions who will spend their entire monthly checks at the casino and then look to the community agencies to pay their rent, mortgage and give them food for their children, etc. So it does remain to be seen, right?
I possess great admiration for Mr. Doug Sepic’s stance on crime and drugs. But it appears that the makeup of the majority of our electorate are drug addicts or criminals. And every outsider that I talk to shares the same opinion.
So, in essence, Fayette is just spinning its wheels. It is simply the twisted mentality.
