Who do blame the most for the Pens losing to the Bruins? Was it Crosby, Malkin, Shero or Bylsma? What can be done to rectify the situation? Can this team ever win the Cup with these players again?

“You win as a team, and you lose as a team, and you stick by your team, win or lose.”

“Bylsma needs to go, and the team needs revamped. The Pens score a lot of highlight-reel goals during the regular season but are not built for the playoffs. This is my take, and I’m a Devils fan.”

“I blame the Bruins.”

“Truthfully, I blame Fleury even though he didn’t play much. He is supposed to be a big-time goalie and fails every year in the playoffs. If you can’t show up at shine time, you’re not worth it. Then again, most of the team didn’t show up in the last series. They looked lost.”

“Wow this guy blamed Fleury. Wow. Who cares? We lost. It’s tough to win championships in professional sports. We will be back at it next season, which is a full season. It’s really tough winning a cup after an 82-game season as opposed to a 40-game season. Let’s Go Bucs!!!”

“Since the team will not have this collection of players again, your last question is an impossibility. It’s called the ‘off-season.’ Players move, staff shuffles. That’s how it goes. Which makes this year even more of a waste — I can’t imagine that it’s even possible to build a better, deeper, more talented team.”

“Why do we need to blame anyone? This is the problem with society. We need to place blame of why something didn’t turn out the way we wanted. Couldn’t the other team just be better?”

“The same goes in hockey as it does for football and any other sport: A good defense will beat a good offense any day. As far as Bylsma, they would be crazy to fire him.”

“With Crosby and Malkin as the core, the team should contend every year, as long as the rest of the talent around them is solid. It’s time for Bylsma to go. The problem in the playoffs is lack of discipline combined with an unwillingness to make changes when things don’t work.”

“Bylsma has to go. When you’re the coach and your team is as badly outplayed as the Pens were by the Bruins, then it’s time for the coach to go.”
