Should smoking indoors be further restricted in PA? Two Republican lawmakers are attempting to prohibit smoking in some places where it’s still allowed, like bars, nightclubs and casinos. Would you be happy to see this law go through, or not? Why/why not?

“They are not going to ban smoking at the casinos, because the state and the politicians get a cut of the money. They will ban the other places and raise the cigarette tax again to make up for the money they are losing. I am an ex-smoker, and I think all of this is BS or worse.”

“It’s up to the establishment. I don’t smoke, so I don’t go in bars. If you don’t want to smell it or ingest it, don’t go in … period. Oh, yes, and just think, they want to legalize marijuana, and maybe recreational drug use. Yeah, right! That’s really going to impact society.”

“No! I never killed anyone smoking my cigs! This is getting to be a little crazy! If I want to smoke, it is my business! Kiss my good-looking American butt!”

“I would like to see it pass. The smoke really bothers me. I get all stuffed up.”

“No, us smokers have rights, too!”

“Ban all indoor smoking like Ohio, and give them an area outside. It’s your life and mine people!”

“Absolutely! Smoking in a vehicle with children present should also be criminal! Secondhand smoke kills!”

“Smoking in a car with children, in the state of California, will get you a hefty fine and possibly arrested.”

“Yes, I think it should be banned because it makes me sick, and non-smokers shouldn’t have to stay out of somewhere just because of smoking. Plus, it would help all of us not breathing in smoke health-wise.”

“Nothing like living in a Hitler world. Why should the government tell us where to smoke? – From a smoker.”

“What does cancer have to do with Hitler? That makes no sense at all. Just because you don’t mind giving yourself cancer doesn’t mean you should be able to give it to someone sitting next to you.”

“Land of the free.”

“Give the names of those two Republicans, and I’ll be sure to campaign against them. Better yet, quit selling tobacco products in the state of Pennsylvania, and let’s see where they get the lost tax revenue.”
