Thanks at least in part to his folksy commercials, businessman Tom Wolf has a commanding lead in the polls for the Democratic primary race for governor over fellow candidates state Treasurer Rob McCord, former DEP secretary Katie McGinty and U.S. Rep. Allyson Schwartz. Who do you like in the race? Can any of them beat Gov. Tom Corbett in November?

“It’s a sure thing. Corbett would lose to Hitler.”

“I like Tom Wolf! I don’t see how Corbett can win!”

“I like Tom Wolf. Goodbye Corbett.”

“Tom Wolf is the man.”

“Rob McCord has a solid plan to fix the educational cuts made by Corbett and has more of a chance to beat him since he is known more across the state than the other candidates. But I think any of these democrats would have a more positive impact on our state than Corbett has!”

“If a rock ran for governor against Corbett, we would have Gov. Rock for four years.”

“I think I could beat Corbett.”

“Corbett will win big.”

“I like Tom Wolf.”

Would you be for or against putting photos on Social Security cards? Is it a good or bad idea?

“You don’t have to spend money for a photo ID in order to vote. You can get a free state ID card for voting purposes at the DMV. The cost issue is a lie told by those who want to make it easier to subvert the voting process, and those who don’t bother to check the facts believe it and perpetuate it. As for photos on the Social Security card, I think it might be a good idea, but I would like more information about how it would work.”

“ID cards cost $27.50.”

“Why can’t we show drivers license?”

“Why not put photos on the Voter Registration Cards that every voter is already issued? And if Voter Registration Cards aren’t sufficient ID, quit wasting taxpayer dollars on printing and mailing them.”

“In over 30 years of voting, I’ve never been asked to show my voters’ registration card. When I sign in, they check my signature against the one on file from when I registered. It matches. Then I vote.”
