Tragedy at fair

1 min read

What should have been a good evening at the Fayette County Fair last week turned into a horrible memory.

The decision was made that night to set off a fireworks display during a rodeo. The rodeo was not over and the people were not warned that this was going to happen. I will never attend another fair here unless the person or people that made that decision are banned from ever making any decisions regarding animals.

Any beginner in 4H knows better than to mix fireworks and horses. The responsible thing to do is to wait until all of the animals are gone before fireworks are set off.
