Zimmerlink ripped

2 min read

Oh, I see there’s been another lawsuit filed as a result of Fayette County Commissioner Angela Zimmerlink.

What will it stop? When will she stop costing money for Fayette County taxpayers. She was apparently behind the $150,000 Cellurale settlement the county had to cough up.

She also threatened to sue the Fayette County Housing Authority unless they paid her $25,000.

Zimmerlink tried unsuccessfully to sue Fayette County Commissioner Vince Zapotosky and former Fayette County Commissioner Vince Vicites, which wasted $348,000 in legal fees. This was a frivolous lawsuit that was unanimously rejected by four federal judges.

Now, who knows how much Zimmerlink’s breach of confidentiality will cost Fayette County taxpayers.  According to the newspaper article, she risked the welfare of an infant and the infant’s family for what appears to be her promoting her political ambitions. This is a sad state of affairs for Fayette County.

Fayette County taxpayers can no longer afford to have Zimmerlink as a commissioner.  She is not a leader. She only cares about her political future, certainly not the taxpayers who voted her into office. She has no record of accomplishments after more than 10 years in office.

It’s time for her to leave. She needs to step down for the common good. She should just resign now, instead of waiting for the next election. It would be the best thing she could do for the citizens of Fayette County.

For once in her life, she should think about someone else. She should think of the residents of Fayette County and resign, resign and resign. Please.
