Gov. Corbett praised

By Ed Rinkhoff Jr. 2 min read

Pennsylvania’s Attorney General Kathleen Kane came to light highly credentialed and probably still is.

However, she has proven to be a partisan vigilante who only sees evil in Republicans she can discredit by inference rather than fact such as the egg on her face waste of $200,000 of taxpayers money to hang Gov. Corbett for taking to long to handle the case of Jerry Sandusky.

Gov. Corbett is a very focused cross every “t” and dot every “i” guy who builds an airtight case before any premature bungling. As attorney general under Act 33, his office litigated five cases statewide where townships had enacted ordinances against farmers which were in violation of Pennsylvania’s Right to Farm Law.

This was done with no regard to the supervisors’ political affiliation: however I would bet that most of the supervisors were Republican simply because of the strong Republican majorities  in rural communities. This was further proven in the convictions of improprieties in among the members of our state House of Representatives.

Gov. Corbett has proved to be a friend to agriculture, which is Pennsylvania’s number one industry. That’s why the Farm Bureau, a nonpartisan organization with 55,000 members, was almost 100 percent for him in 2010, and I don’t believe it’s going to be any different in 2014.

Gov. Corbett is just as easy of a guy to converse with as former Gov. Ed Rendell but far more methodical in his approach to issues, and he sticks to his word.

Attorney General Kane lost my respect when she backed off prosecuting the four or five representatives from Philadelphia who accepted gifts on the basis that it was racially motivated. Give me a break. The real reason was they were all Democrats and this is a bad year to prosecute Democrats when their main objective is to defeat Gov. Corbett. Well, I think she’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
