Good judgement needed
For a taxpayer over 60 years old, my heart is saddened by the way our county is operating.
Our need today is employment and jobs and we should be taking every step possible to bring business into the county. In everyday news we read nothing about skilled tech businesses coming into our county that would take the burden off the taxpayer. Even if they were, the commissioners would spend it for an elite prison, which only puts more burdens on taxpayers which we don’t need.
Put inmates in jail and feed them. That’s all. West Virginia still has ball and chain groups so let’s put them to work. A lot of cleanup work needs to be done and if the inmates don’t want to work then no TV for them.
Our boys have gone to war and now they’re dying because we have no hospitals for them. Mother said she didn’t care how smart we were. She just wanted us to show that we cared. So, let’s use some good judgement and do what is best for the county and our country.
