For the past three years, Gov. Corbett touted his ability to get a budget passed on time. This year, however, Corbett is already warning that a budget might not be passed on time, as he’s holding out for action on pension reform and changing the state store system. How important do you think it is that the state passes a budget by the June 30 deadline? Will it make it any more or less likely that you’ll vote for Corbett in the fall?

“He could part the Monongahela and turn water to wine. I’m still not voting for him.”

“He hasn’t impressed me in the nine months I’ve lived in Pennsylvania. I’m not voting for him.”

“I wouldn’t vote for Corbett if he was the only candidate running.”

“Well, I don’t live in Pennsylvania anymore, but, if I did, he definitely wouldn’t get my vote.”

“He is a Republican, so no I can’t vote for him.”

“Nothing could convince me to vote for him.”

“Definitely not.”

“One term Tom. He needs to go!”

“Cannabis is what’s costing him the election. He should have already legalized marijuana.”

“It’s better that Corbett hold out and try to get something done finally about pensions and privatizing alcohol. If that’s what it takes to get these two things done right than I’m all for it. Corbett deserves a lot of credit for trying to do the right thing.”

“It’s really funny that after making such a big deal of passing a budget on time that now it’s not that big of a deal after all. The Republicans tortured Rendell for not passing a budget on time. But not it’s OK? What a bunch of hypocrites?”

“Guess it’s OK as long as it’s not your paycheck being delayed. What a bunch of nonsense.”

“It’s time for Gov. Corbett to move on.”

“Corbett should’ve appealed the gay marriage ruling. That will cost him the election.”
