Boni is superior candidate
I have followed this election, so far, coming up on May 20. I have been researching the platforms of the candidates for state representative in the 52nd District. Nothing against any of other candidates in the race, but one candidate’s accomplishments stand out above the rest. That candidate is A.J. Boni.
When Boni was elected as a township supervisor 14 years ago, Perry Township had less than $100 in the bank and was near bankruptcy. The roads and bridges were in bad shape, and there was broken down equipment.
Today, the township is financially sound, with several hundred thousand dollars in the bank, newer equipment and better roads and bridges than ever before.
Boni, working with his fellow supervisors, turned the township around. The township is now positioned for job creation and growth opportunities. Boni has never raised taxes and has always passed a balanced budget in Perry Township. I feel that he would never vote to raise taxes as state representative for the 52nd District.
Boni has run a very efficient local government, and he has the taxpayers’ best interest at heart. Above all, Boni listens to the people he serves, and he understands the issues the people are truly concerned about and the issues that affect people’s daily lives.
