Geyer supported
It’s been a number of years since I was mayor of Connellsville, and things sure have changed since then.
I watched as businesses left our downtown and the Route 119 highway. I remember more empty storefronts than businesses. I remember a field with a dilapidated Spagnel’s building.
And I remember a young man running for council to change all that. I was happy to see Brad Geyer get elected to council, because after first meeting with him I knew he would work for the public and make Connellsville better.
As a councilman, Geyer has worked hard for the city to create a business-friendly environment, and it shows. Brad has stood up for development and cast critical votes to secure the Martin’s Plaza, creating over 100 jobs.
Brad also played a key role in the new hotel development that is projecting 26 full-time equivalent jobs. I know Brad can use these skills district wide and help create jobs throughout the 52nd District. I know Brad is a good listener, and that is the most important skill a state representative can have. Brad listens to the people of Connellsville now, and he will listen to all the residents of the 52nd District in the future.
