Boni gets support
I am Charles (Bud) Petrosky, a Perryopolis Borough councilman.
First of all, I want to give praise and thanks to all the volunteers, past and present, who have made our town a wonderful place to live.
When I am out state and someone asks me where I’m from, I tell that I live in one of the most historical towns in the USA. Our school district is second to none in the state, and I’m very proud to say that I graduated from Frazier High School.
When I took office in January, I was appointed chairman of the parks and recreation committee. I am working with our councilman to bring all of organizations together to work in harmony.
Our priorities are getting ready for the Perryopolis 200 Bicentennial, securing a system to deter vandals from trying to destroy our parks and recreation facilities, and citing people who are not abiding with our ordinances.
We also have a water drainage problem in some of our low areas in Perryopolis that needs to be fixed. In the long-range, we’re planning for a family center where teenagers can go to. If it wasn’t for organized sports, our kids would have nothing to do.
I am invited all of you living in communities near Perryopolis to come and help us celebrate our bicentennial on June 27-29. Also, I hope every will vote for A.J. Boni for state representative in the 52nd district. We need his voice in Harrisburg. God bless you all.
