This is an appeal to all those who throw trash out of the window of your car or truck.

I just spent two hours, cleaning up a short portion of the road I live on. There was one bag full of plastic bottles, beer cans, fast food containers and four large trash bags packed full of a pink insulation material. Just because it is a wooded area is no reason to throw trash here.

We live in such a beautiful part of the country and it is desecrating our land. I know there are intelligent people who don’t realize how easy it is to take it home and throw it in the trash can.

Better yet, I challenge you to keep a trash bag in the car to pick up trash when you see it along the highway. We all have to live together so please try to keep our roads clean.
