New low for country

2 min read

On Friday of last week, the growing shame and confusion that comes of political correctness plunged to even lower depths.

The pastor and trustees of the Washington National Cathedral invited area Muslims to hold prayer services in the edifice which is one of America’s most prestigious churches. Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham, was one of only a very few with a national voice to condemn this open betrayal. Graham rightly said, “It’s sad to see a church open its doors to the worship of anything other than the one true God of the Bible who sent His son, the Lord Jesus Christ to earth to save us from our sins.”

It is ironic that this “peaceful religion” responded to this gesture this weekend with the world-wide release of the taped beheading of another innocent American. This horrendous murder was augmented at the same time by the beheading of nearly 20 young Syrian cadets.

Several days ago three Americans along with a British Jew were murdered in cold blood as they prayed in a synagogue in Jerusalem. Muslims who have migrated to America are granted (and rightly so) complete religious liberty. Albeit, many of these “peace loving” folks are now demanding that Christmas and Easter observance in America’s public schools be abolished until significant Muslim holidays are also celebrated.

Most of the secular, humanistic twits who develop policies and procedures for every aspect of our life, think we are too stupid to know what is best for ourselves. They feel it is they who should decide for us what is proper and good and desirable.

These egotistical wind-bags care nothing for our Christian heritage and culture or Constitutional freedoms and want to purge the nation of every vestige of Christianity. Sadly, unless Christians and other freedom loving people rise up and say “enough,” they will succeed.
