This is meant as an idea for the prison situation. As I mentioned before, whey not contact U.S. Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., and see if the Army Reserve Center at the intersection of Route 21 and Easy Street may be available, perhaps as a gift.

It could be renovated and be used for females, non-violent offenders and weekend inmates. It might be worth a try. It’s close to police, hospital, the fire department and the courthouse.

Others have mentioned the old YMCA in Uniontown on Gallatin Avenue in the city. Are city officials involved as it means a lot to everyone in the city plus its restaurants and taverns?

Community input is necessary. Looking at different ideas from others is what the public has shown is its wishes.
