After an HS News Extra video posted to our Facebook page reported state police and the owner of a local animal petting zoo are asking for the public’s help in locating a puppy that went missing during the Fayette County Fair, the following comments were left on the post.

“Awe, that’s a shame.”

“It’s ashamed someone stole the baby. Don’t get me wrong, but in the beginning of the video it says she ‘breeds to sell.” So when she gets the puppy back all she’s going to do is sell it. Again don’t get me wrong, a thief is a thief and it’s a shame.”

“Trusting people of Fayette County? Is there anything they won’t steal?”

“I ask myself the same thing after watching that clip. It’s a shame because this could be a nice area. It’s a great location.”

“There’s got to always be one person that ruins things for everyone! They probably sold it. Get that puppy back to the rightful owner you dirtbag!”

“Shame! But I don’t like breeders. Too many animals waiting in shelters.”

“There are more important issues going on in Fayette County other than some breeder and their dog.”

“I loved that little CoJack named Tootsie. They were all adorable.”

“A thief is a thief. However, this woman claims to have 500 animals, which is way more than she can handle, especially if she didn’t know a dog was missing for a week! She’s nothing more than a backyard breeder (notice several breeds of puppies in the video), selling her dogs at the fair. She gets no sympathy from me. Hopefully, the pup has a good home.”

“Didn’t watch the video, but in the article it said the puppy was only five weeks old. By state law, they MUST BE eight weeks old. Why aren’t the humane officers looking into illegal pups for sale? Hopefully the pup is in a much better home?”

“She wasn’t selling it, someone stole it. I am sure she has help and who steals puppies!”

“A thief is a thief and it’s never okay to steal!”
