Rick Santorum, the feisty former U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania, has announced that he’s running for president. Santorum won nearly a dozen primaries in the race for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012. Known for his staunch opposition to gay marriage and abortion, Santorum railed against big businesses and politicians for moving jobs overseas on Wednesday. Do you think Santorum has a chance to win the nomination? Is he someone you would support to become out next president?

“More like frothy.”

“Pennsylvania didnt want him anymore after his many fiascoes. In 2012 the Republicans didn’t see fit to run him, losing out to Mitt Romney 59 percent to 41 percent. He’s just a silly man with financial connections.”

“I’m all for bringing back manufacturing. How will he do it? Will he support unions? The key to our economy doing well is manufacturiing jobs. Factory work, with good pay, health care, and a chance for the people of Western Pennsylvania to show what we can do when given half a chance. America should use American-made products. What other country buys steel from a third country when it makes that product itself? Only America. Buy American. Support your country and your famiy and neighbors. Ask for American-made products. It’s time to bring good manufacturing jobs back here. And I like a flat tax too.”

“It doesn’t matter who gets elected. They still have to deal with a do nothing Congress.”

“His chances of being elected president are about the same as mine of being the next pope.”

“To his credit, Santorum did get 10 primary states in 2012. However, there are simply too many candidates to sustain a ticket. I’m a Democrat but dang I wish there was a better focus on the opposition end.”

“Being against gay marriage when it’s obvious that the majority of voters want it is a career killer. The field’s too crowded as it is. He’s going to be lost in the chorus clamoring for air time.”

“He’s a nice guy.”

“Another clown joins the party! Yoi!”

“I look forward to once again watching his family weep while he gives his concession speech. I absolutely won’t vote for him.”

“Obama said he was glad to see Rick step down (his daughter needed him and her mom) because he had nothing on him. I would gladly support Rick Santorum. He’s from Pennsylvania, so I’m hoping he will make a good president if he’s elected.”

“All of the Republican candidates have very good agendas and “common sense.” After the primaries, the Republican will get my vote.”

” Heck no.”
