Innocent people held in jails

By Lou Ann Marshall 2 min read

We have a list out there for criminals called Megan’s Law. These people spend time in prison for their crimes. They are found guilty and believe me, they pay in jail as well. Men might be convicted of their crimes, but don’t touch a child. The ones that do are kept separated from the rest of the population.

There is one thing I disagree with. There are people on that list that do not belong there. Some of these people are accused wrongly. There are different classes. You have to research the case on file to see what class that person is in and exactly what it involved. It might have been an adult, but right away, people see the name on the list and yes to them, it has to be a child.

Did you know a man urinated in public and they put him on that list? Something needs to be done about this. This is serious. If it’s a child, put child; if it’s an adult, put adult. That way people can see it right away. You can pull it up on a computer, but people who really know that person would say that’s not true.

Then you have the ones who have such boring lives, nothing better to do with themselves other than plaster things on Facebook. Truthfully God knows who they are, and they need to be ashamed of themselves. Facebook is the worst thing,  they could have put out there, unless it’s put to good use. In a subject like this, band together and everyone try to get them to look into the cases and help the ones that are innocent.

You will be rewarded for that. Tell people to write letters to look into the cases. Do whatever it takes to help these people. I’m sure there are innocent people sitting in jail, also for crimes they didn’t commit. They need looked over again too. The shame is, if you have no money, no one wants to bother with you. That needs to stop. The lawyers also take oaths to help – so help!

Take this serious and pull together and start helping. This world is in bad shape anyway. Don’t make it worse! Thank you.
