Lawmakers performing poorly for workers
Successful lawmakers have at least two considerable incomes. Through taxation they’re paid by the working class, and through campaign contributions they’re paid by big business.
The income our lawmakers get through taxation is guaranteed no matter how poorly they perform for the working class, such as refusing to raise the minimum wage above poverty level, but the income they get through campaign contributions has no such guarantee, because it depends on how well our lawmakers perform for big business, such as refusing to raise the minimum wage above poverty level.
If the income our lawmakers get through taxation could be based on how well they perform for the working class, most of our lawmakers would be paid the minimum wage and the rest would be temps, part-timers and unemployed. LOL.
