Trump is unfit for US presidency
Damocles, as the story goes, envied the authority and power of his king, Dionysius.
The king offered to switch places with Damocles. To quote from Wikipedia: “Damocles sat down in the king’s throne surrounded by every luxury, but Dionysius arranged that a huge sword should hang above the throne (and the sword held) only by a single hair of a horse’s tail.” Damocles quickly vacated the throne! Moral of the story: “With great fortune and power comes also great danger.”
Donald Trump, like Damocles, does not comprehend or appreciate the power, responsibility and danger that comes with a high governing office. He does not measure up to the image and character of president. Trump does not realize that the “sword of Damocles,” the sword of peril, the sword of responsibility may suddenly fall when rash decisions of governing are made.
Trump is a deplorable basket of lies, instability and rashness, and would-be voters of him need to face up to the inconsistencies and untruths that issue from his mouth. He does not represent Republican Party values. Try to put sanity into your thinking and do not resort to gut feelings for political change of which many voters probably cannot rationally define or explain.
Hillary Clinton may not appear to be trustworthy, but Donald Trump is the epitome of a braggart and a bigot. That “sword of Damocles” just may fall not only on Trump, but also on all the citizens of this country, if he is given the opportunity of occupying the office of President of the United States. And only then by learning the hard way, the shout will go up across the country, “We the people have made a grave mistake!”
