Trump getting the job done
“Who can we get on the case? We need Perry Mason! Someone to put you in place: calling Perry Mason, AGAIN.” (“Perry Mason,” by: Ozzy Osbourne, the “Ozzmosis” CD.)
Well, the television drama “Perry Mason” was cancelled years ago and Raymond Burr; who played the title character, died. Locally, the “one-trick ponies” who write so wrong, somehow make a living attacking the President. Darn, who can we get on the case?
The President might need Perry Mason to neutralize it, but here he’ll have to settle for me. I don’t have a secretary named Della Street, or Paul Drake as my private investigator, but: “I got this.”
You have to hand it to the administration’s “spin doctors.” In 26 hours, they mitigated the President misspeaking in Helsinki down to a suffix of one word. The President’s story is he used the word “would,” instead of “wouldn’t .”
If that ain’t “plausible denial,” what is? I’ve lost count of how many times I submitted something only to discover that I misspelled a word even after I proof-read it. Speed-readers do that. You recognize the root or maybe the first half of the word and skip over the rest of it.
It happens. It’s happened to me and I’m pretty sure that it’s happened to you. However, there are those that can’t get beyond the fact that we’re all human. They hold everyone else to a standard that they know they can’t live up to themselves. If you don’t believe me, just watch how the guy that owns Monday milks this for all that it isn’t worth.
I don’t think the President should have corrected the word. He said he didn’t see why Russia “would” have done it. Nobody’s shown any collusion; which isn’t even a misdemeanor, and he’s been tougher on Russia than previous administrations. Doesn’t that make sense?
Keep in mind our Intelligence Community assured us it was a “slam dunk” that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction (which they didn’t) and “whacking” Khadafi in Libya; replacing him with nothing, locked us into these Mid-East blunders. The Deep State’s: John Brennan, accused the President of being treasonous, because he doesn’t have blind faith in them?
I’ve been telling you from the gate, that this whole “Russian influence in the 2016 Presidential election” thing is much ado about nothing. However, it’s 2018. Now-a-days leftist progressives accuse everyone; but themselves, of racism and have been infected with “selective naivete’ , II In the “real world” foreign governments have always tried to influence other countries’ elections.
In that same real world, we have always tried to influence foreign governments’ elections. That’s what governments do. It’s always been done and regardless of what you might think, it will continue to be. Only a full blown idiot would think otherwise.
What world do leftist-progressives live in? Forget about telling people to stop it. “That ain’t happenin’.” The only thing to do is try you’ re best to protect against it. It’s a defensive game, like hockey. Obviously, Hillary and the Democrats should have subscribed to “PC-matic!’
Who believes scolding Putin during a press conference is going to stop it? It wouldn’t help any negotiations, it only hurts them.
Yeah, I know Trump kind of “stepped in it” for some of you in Finland during that press conference. He cleaned it up pretty quick. His correction of one word is understandable, considering that the backward Mueller probe: “investigating suspects in search of a crime,” keeps distracting everyone; including the President, over nothing. That’s what it’s designed to do.
The “Deep State” within our Justice Department indicted what: a dozen GRU (Russian Military Intelligence) agents in Russia? These people will NEVER be extradited to the United States, so proving the allegations in the indictment will NEVER take place. Mueller could have indicted a dozen ham sandwiches in Russia and achieved the same result. Nothing! Yet the accusations are out there accepted as true.
If the Mueller investigation is half as biased as it’s shown itself to be, this ploy by the prosecutor achieves a “vindictive pseudo-conviction by innuendo.” without the bother of a trial.
It’s never been about “Justice,” it’s always been about “Politics.”
“We voted for Trump and we’ll do it again!” We’re tired of the status quo (aka: swamp) leading us nowhere.
All of a sudden, the economy isn’t doing too bad. North Korea isn’t firing rockets over Japan, testing nuclear weapons and returned hostages we didn’t have to pay for. The ISIS caliphate in Syria and Iraq is history. Contrary to the Clinton/Kerry negotiations, Iran will not have nuclear weapons in less than ten year. We’re finally talking to the other nuclear power in the world about getting together and cooperating to stop, not postpone, nuclear proliferation.
All of a sudden, NATO members are starting to pay their fair share for their defense and we’re demanding fair trade, or we’ll finally fight back in a trade war that we’ve been losing. On top of all that, Trump gave you back some of your money the government takes away from you in taxes. What more do you want in eighteen months? The defense rests.
