Don’t feel shame; God doesn’t
I read the thoughts of Pastor Ed Nicholson recently -“O, Boy”! And, I read the front page story, “Local dioceses respond ….” O, Lord!
Juxtaposing both articles you will come away wanting to feel shame. DON’T!
Go to the Bible. Read Jeremiah, Isiah, Thessalonians, Job, and you will find who it is that should feel “shame.”
If you feel any shame it is because you have allowed your mind to be deceived by the deceiver — God! It is because you were created in the image of God, the supreme self-deceiver. As a deceived soul/mind being you suffer the lies of this God-created world, a world foreign to the blissful, happy spirit being that you/we all really, really are beneath the energy
Veils in which God has encased every man, woman and child who has ever been incarnated on this world of anguish and horror — the anguish of being made to feel that you are somehow guilty for being here, when the guilt is where the buck stops — God!
The pastor and the priest? What are they to do with you? You are so full of lust, pride, anger, hate, greed, disharmony, on and on and on ….
Forget your weaknesses. That old deceiver God also put talents and strengths into you. So start teaching your children to build their record upon those very real but yet undeveloped strengths. Forget the shame and stop blaming. Quit your complaining, and work out your own safe return to God, to pure bliss being. Stop trusting the pastors and start feeling compassion for the priests and the pastors who believe in a “loving” God.
God does not love as much as God calculates. And God has calculated that in order to survive, God had to create — that’s right, God’s survival depends upon all his fearful, weeping beings having something to do and some time to do it in. That’s right — survive.
So you are not ashamed because God is also not ashamed of having made such a world of human suffering and pain, or else God knows “it” would disappear, pure bliss consciousness would disappear if God did not get busy living through his/her creations — you and me and the rest of it all.
Forgive God. But also forgive your ignorant, annoying neighbors for they know not what they do not know. And, apparently do not want to know.
