Money goes to money
When you are financially shabby and can’t get that extra buck for special needs, you find yourself saying, “Money goes to money” when monetarily well-off people get more of it from any “trivial source.” They’re consistent. They can fall into mud and come out smelling like perfume. People that invest into a business venture for financial gain are praised. Working hard and getting salary increases deserves a handshake. They earned it!
What infuriates me is television commercials having notable celebrities making “big bucks” in their careers and getting paid towering wages for commercials presented to them (movie stars and athletes). My ill-feelings are not only the celebrity, but the failure to provide unknown faces in need of financial support. Unknown faces that have the professional quality to deliver a selling message should be given the opportunity to help their career and a family to support. It’s so oppressive to someone who really needs the monetary boost and career upstart, but is set aside for famous personalities of wealth. Acquisitive advertising executives are guilty of this maltreatment. They get famed notables that the consumer can easily remember and relate for product purchasing and generate their product profits.
The poor chickens scratching the dirt for worms know about life being financially harsh. Thank goodness for the lottery. Have patience, God provides miracles. Extra money will continue to make happy the heart of man/woman in need. It can also be destructive ruining family and friends relationships. Money is the root of happiness and the struggling man/woman needs financial security in their bank account. Their hair will remain dark longer and nerves much more relaxed. Timothy, Old Testament 6:10, “money is the root of evil,” he must have been living on bread and water. Ecclesiastes, Old Testament, 10:9 quotes, “Feasts are made of laughter; wine gladdens life, and money meets every need,” is well said. Good health is equally important as money.
If you can’t have good health care because of not having good health insurance, the reason is not having enough cash to provide quality care. Struggling and scraping the bottom of the barrel is like a rope tightening around your neck choking you to death. The impoverished society is forced to gritting their teeth. These strained souls have been gritting their teeth for so long, the teeth have been worn down to stubs; living on nerve and anxiety medication to help them deal with the anguish and get a good night’s sleep (if you can afford the meds).
There was a greedy old man that had much wealth and made his last will and testament that all his estate be buried with him in the form of a cashier’s check. Who said you can’t take it with you? Tightwads pinch pennies so tight, Lincoln’s head gets flattened. Tightwads hold onto a dollar bill for so long, the green and black ink rubs off onto their fingers. If a despairingly needy hits on a five hundred dollar lottery number, soon after something goes afoul with the car or home and they get smacked with a thousand dollar repair and everything else due at the same time. Poor working skunks never get rich, they just make a few “scents.” These poor souls are sheep getting sheared. Those that wrestle with financial discomfort like to say, “The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.” Some unfortunates get so distraught and as said in the song by Merle Haggard, “Looking for a place to fall apart.”
The good fortune you pray for seems to take it’s time, but that money wagon is coming around the bend. Someone on the dark side will say, “Don’t hold your breath.”
