Mother received great care

2 min read

My mother, Dolores Kerfoot recently passed away. Three years ago, my family had to make a difficult decision to find a place for her to live, as she was no longer able to care for herself. We were unable to provide the care she needed at the time. We chose to have her reside at Hillside Manor in Uniontown. What a wonderful decision that was. The care she received there was a blessing to our family. The staff of the home treated her as if she was one of their own family. While she had good days and bad, they always found a way to make her smile and laugh. When she started to fade in the last few weeks of her life, the love and compassion they showed to her just grew. They not only provided this care to her, but to our family as well. In the last few days of her life, they treated her with love and compassion, always at hand for anything we needed. When I had to leave, I was always comfortable knowing she was in such good hands.

In this day and age when we are always focusing on the negative aspects of life, I want to commend the staff of Hillside Manor for going above and beyond for those in their care. Your exceptional care for our mother has not gone unnoticed. Thank you for making a difficult time so much easier and peaceful for our family and for treating our mother with grace and dignity.

Thanks to Becky and Jim for ensuring that you have the most wonderful staff. Your efforts to provide the community with such a great option for care for our loved ones must be acknowledged. Your staff is a reflection of you!
