School Board meetings Voting sessions are held 6 p.m. the third Wednesday of the month with work sessions held at 6 p.m. the Monday before. Locations for both meetings are as follows: January/February, George J. Plava Elementary; March/April, D. Ferd Swaney Elementary; May/June, Friendship Hill Elementary; July/August, Masontown Elementary; September/October, A.L. Wilson Elementary; November/December, Smithfield Elementary.

Albert Gallatin High School’s chapter of the National Honor Society recently held a volleyball tournament and raised $1,670.68 that it donated to Toys for Tots and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
