After receiving several project proposals earlier this month for the replacement of the Smithfield Elementary School roof, the Albert Gallatin Area School Board is requesting from potential bidders new proposals following certain project specifications in order to make a more accurate cost comparison.

Cadets from Albert Gallatin High School JROTC participated in the Stephen Siller 5k in New York that honors first responders, EMT, firefighters, police and service members of the Armed Forces affected by the events of Sept. 11, 2011. Local businesses contributed $70,000 to The Challenge Program, Inc. to support efforts to motivate and reward students during the 2018-19 Program year in Fayette County high schools.
